Tanvee Patankar is a sophomore from Buffalo Grove, IL, currently serving as the Vice President of Internal Affairs. She is in Wharton, planning to study Business Economic and Public Policy as well as Finance. She is also a Public Policy Research Scholar on the Environmental/Energy Policy Track. Tanvee is interested in how public policy informs business choice, particularly in the realms of sustainability, emission regulation, and gender equity in developing countries.
In the past, she has worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the Exam Program analyzing the risk of investment advisory firms. Outside of the Public Policy Initiative Student Group (PPISG), Tanvee is also involved in the Insights Think Tank for Wharton Global Research and Consulting and Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Consulting.
