Shaila Lothe is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania from Richmond, VA. She is studying Behavioral Economics at the Wharton School and Hispanic Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences. During high school, she explored foreign policy by participating in Model United Nations, running her school’s Girl Up club, and serving as an ambassador for the Richmond World Affairs Council. After her freshman summer, she furthered this interest by interning in the Argentine government.
As the Director of Trade and Foreign Policy, Shaila is excited to learn more about tariffs, foreign aid, and regional conflicts. On campus, she is also involved with Penn Appetit, Penn Abroad, and behavioral economics research.
