Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Washington, DC is seeking applications from Penn students interested in interning in their Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics during the summer of 2019.
The EEOC works to ensure that employees and job applicants enjoy the opportunity to compete, advance and succeed on a level playing field in the workplace, without regard to race, skin color, gender, religion, national origin, disability or age. Interns at the EEOC get hands-on experience working on challenging projects/cases involving issues of federal anti-discrimination law, and work closely with experienced attorneys and other specialists. The Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics provides research and information services in support of EEOC enforcement litigation efforts.
No background in law is expected or required. But a strong interest in law and public policy is desired, as is knowledge of Excel and other data management tools. Previous experience with data analytics will be helpful.
If you receive an offer, supplemental funding may be available from Wharton PPI. Once you hear back from the organization with an offer, please fill out the funding application form here: http://bit.ly/InternshipFunding
