AJ Lahouaoula is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, intending to study International Relations. Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, he has had a brief yet fascinating exposure to American politics, which has sparked his interest in public policy. He is particularly interested in literature and research pertaining to economic inequality and social mobility. As a member of the economic policy team, he hopes to continue understanding the income class split and the policy measures designed to resolve this issue.
Beyond the Public Policy Initiative, AJ is an Associate Consultant for Penn International Impact Consulting, a committee member of the Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club, and a member of Penn’s Intercollegiate Model UN team.
