Timothy is a sophomore in the Huntsman program, studying International Studies and History at the College, and Economics at Wharton. Hailing from Singapore, Timothy is deeply interested in issues of international relations and multiculturalism. He is also a member of the Society for International Development, and spends his free time taking jogs by the Schuykill.
His commitment to public policy stems from his desire to broker fair compromises so that society’s vulnerable are adequately protected. As a member of the Trade and Foreign Policy group, he sees this manifest when the interests of small countries are preserved by the big guys. In the past, he has written about the Mekong River conflict, the Israel-Palestine dispute, and ASEAN-related issues.
