Lexin Cai is a current graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Social Policy, focusing on international trade, foreign policy and social welfare. As a policy student, Lexin has always been interested in policy analysis. Currently, she is working as a research assistant in a World Wildlife Fund research project on the international food trade.
In her undergraduate study of Public Administration, she took part in several research projects focused on global water industry and regional economic development. This work was sponsored by the Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of P.R. China and Beijing Municipal Government. In Wonk Tank, Lexin is leading the International Trade and Foreign Policy team and is eager to make a positive contribution to policy research on Penn’s campus.
In the future, Lexin would like to be a policy analyst at a think tank to promote equality and sustainable development.
