Anina Oliver is a junior in The Wharton School studying Healthcare Management & Policy and Business Economics & Public Policy, particularly health, education, welfare, and labor policy. Within healthcare, she is interested in care delivery systems, quality metrics, insurance design, health IT, and community health resources.
Growing up in the Bay Area, California, she developed an interest in community development and alleviating health disparities. After interning with Kaiser Permanente, Bank of America, and Junior Achievement of Northern California, she developed an interest in approaching community issues from the perspective of large organizations. On campus, she leads a MedX team consulting for a local health IT firm and a nonprofit organization and is involved with the Wharton Politics and Business Association, the Wharton Undergraduate Healthcare Club, and Global Youth United as a mentor in a local high school. She enjoys hiking, reading, exploring cities, and eating the foods of various cultures.
