Students interested in joining the Public Policy Initiative Student Group can apply for either general membership on one of our policy teams or apply for a deputy position to serve under a Director of a particular policy area or under a Vice President of one of our operations functions.
For general membership, we will be accepting applications for membership to all five policy teams. The policy areas include:
- health and social services;
- trade and foreign policy; environmental policy;
- fiscal and regulatory policy;
- and innovation and technology policy.
Deputy positions are a great way for enthusiastic underclassmen to hit the ground running and gain experience in club responsibilities. Each Director has at least one Deputy Director to aid in editing submitted articles, planning team social activities, and more. Each Vice President has 1-3 deputies to provide support for their initiatives which include:
